Summer Schedule for Toastmasters

Our Members Prefer our meetings at 5:45 PM at Anderson, But we may need to use an alternate meeting room for the last half of June and the 1st 2 weeks of July. More details in the Saturday email from Dyann.

If you have other ideas about how and when to do meetings, then let's figure out what to do.

Paula was a keynote speaker at out convention at the Holiday Inn, and is helping us each week, and each other member contributes to speaking, listening, or/and Leadership skills.

David Obrecht called to say that He will give his "Ice Breaker"
Next week June 22,
We have Paula for Toastmaster ( if she can make it)
David O. will Speak,
And Dwaine will plan to Evaluate,
Dyann is back to do a special speech,
Charles or Ken to be general evaluator,
Pat or................to be Grammarian & word of the day,
Our newest Member, Valerie plans to do our Invocation.
Maybe Nancy can make it back, and Maybe Shirley.
We haven't heard from Jean about helping as club coach, I sure miss her.
Melody, is the Census done , enough that you could complete a TM certificate this summer ?
We'd enjoy learning more with you,( and about you).
Any additions or corrections ? Other ideas ??
One suggestion at tonite's meeting was to do a 6 week Youth Leadership Program,
and Dyann will try to get a alternate room for 4 meetings at Wesleyan U .
Sincerely,
Ken kendolezal@juno.com

Shoes To Fill

Ken said...
I'll try to fill Julie's "shoes" for a step or two.We really enjoyed the table topics by Nancy Oliver and Dyann's presentation and a tasty special speech by Melinda Campbell. I've never seen a 6.5 minute speech produce such delicious results. Dwayne, Charles, and I found fun things to do. Melinda suggested a summer T M program at Wesleyan, too. This week will be our only short meeting May, All summer we should Get our 5:45 to 6:45 time.
